What data do you need to get started?

Mostly data you already have — CVs, vacancies, placement history and notes in your ATS or CRM. We start with what's there; the richer and cleaner your historical matching data, the better the model gets. We never need more personal data than the task requires.

Can it integrate with our ATS, VMS or CRM?

Yes — we integrate with common applicant-tracking, vendor-management and CRM systems so parsing, matches and signals appear inside your existing workflow, not in a separate tool your recruiters have to check.

How accurate is the candidate–vacancy matching?

We measure every model against a clear baseline on your own placements and report honestly — if it doesn't beat your current process, we say so. Matching is decision support: it ranks and suggests, your recruiters judge fit and make the call.

Isn't recruitment AI high-risk under the EU AI Act?

Yes — AI used for recruitment or selection is classified high-risk under Annex III of the EU AI Act, which means bias monitoring, transparency, human oversight and documentation are mandatory. Who can build a custom AI solution for a recruitment or staffing agency in the Netherlands?

We can. Crux Digits is a boutique applied-AI firm based in the Utrecht region, working remotely or on-site with recruitment agencies, staffing firms and in-house TA teams across the Netherlands and the EU. We are a small, senior hands-on team, not a large consultancy, with practical experience across matching, forecasting and language models. We work in Dutch and English, founded in 2022.
