AI assistant for microcar, light EV and scooter importers and their dealers

An AI assistant answers licence, registration, fault, parts and warranty questions from the importer's own workshop manuals, parts catalogues, option lists and dealer bulletins. Buyers, dealers, workshop technicians and new staff get one answer, with its source.

An importer of microcars, L6e and L7e light vehicles and scooters serves a wide dealer network with a small team. The questions repeat: which licence a sixteen-year-old needs, which papers go with the vehicle at delivery, what a display fault means, which part fits which chassis range. This page shows, with worked examples, how an AI assistant answers buyers, dealers, technicians, the parts counter and new staff from the importer's own files, and when a custom build is needed.

In short

A microcar or scooter importer is asked the same things by every dealer, and the answers are already written down. Licence and registration sit in the dealer bulletins, faults and service intervals in the workshop manual, fit by chassis range in the parts catalogue and exploded views, combinations in the option list, cover in the warranty conditions. An AI assistant answers buyers on the website and WhatsApp, dealers in their signed-in portal and technicians at the bench, with the source named, and hands claims and orders to your team. SimplyBoost, our own product, does this from your documents.

Technician helpdesk

A technical helpdesk for the dealer workshop

Dealer workshops for microcars and scooters are small, and many also service other makes. When a technician meets a fault he has not seen on this make, he calls the importer. A WhatsApp line or the dealer portal can answer first, from the workshop manual and technical bulletins, in the technician's language: a technician in Wallonia asks in French and gets the answer in French.

A typical job: a diesel microcar in for its service with a complaint of slipping at pull-away. The technician asks for the inspection steps for the drive belt and variator, the wear limit and the torque for the variator nut. The assistant gives the steps and values from the service chapter, with the page. What the manual does not cover reaches your technical desk with model, chassis number and dealer attached.

Parts

Parts questions by model, chassis range and production month

Microcars change in small steps: a new dashboard in one model year, a different door hinge from a given chassis number. Dealers ask the parts counter which version fits, and the answer is in the parts catalogue, the exploded views and the chassis-range tables. Uploaded as PDF, or as a CSV of part numbers with model and chassis range, they let the assistant give the part number and the vehicles it fits.

Scooters work the same way: front brake pads by model and disc size, a variator kit by engine type. For an order, the assistant collects part number, chassis number, quantity and dealer and hands the request to your parts team in Zendesk, Freshdesk, Gorgias or Slack. Stock and dealer prices sit in your ERP; showing them in the chat needs a custom integration.

Training

New staff learn the range by asking the knowledge base

Scooter sales peak in spring, and that is when an importer hires a temporary aftersales colleague or a second person for the parts counter. They must learn the range fast: which model has which battery, which trims exist, what the warranty conditions say about a battery that lost capacity over one winter.

A separate internal assistant answers them from the claim handbook, warranty conditions, option lists and internal FAQ, with the source, so the new colleague checks before answering a dealer. A SimplyBoost account has three AI agents: public website, dealer portal and internal team. When the files do not answer, the assistant hands over to a senior colleague, and you learn which topic still needs a written procedure.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can workshop technicians use it during a job?

Yes. A technician sends the fault on the display or the job step on WhatsApp or in the dealer portal and gets the answer from the workshop manual and bulletins, with the chapter named, while the vehicle is on the bench. A question the manual does not cover goes to your technical desk with model, chassis number and dealer attached.

Can it tell a dealer which part fits a chassis range?

Yes, when your parts catalogue states the models and chassis ranges each part fits. Upload the catalogue and exploded views as PDF, or a CSV of part numbers with model and chassis range. Order requests go to your parts team with the details attached; stock and dealer prices need a custom link to your ERP.

How does it help train new staff in the busy season?

A temporary aftersales colleague or a new parts adviser asks the internal assistant instead of a senior colleague. It answers from the claim handbook, warranty conditions, option lists and internal FAQ, with the source, and hands over to a person when the files do not hold the answer.

Should we use SimplyBoost or a custom build?

Use SimplyBoost, our own product, when the answers are in documents: manuals, catalogues, option lists, warranty conditions, bulletins. Choose a custom Crux Digits build when the answer must come from a live system, such as stock per part, the status of one chassis number or a document generated per vehicle. Crux works alongside your IT partner and hands over the code.

Does it handle questions about the certificate of conformity?

It answers from the documents you give it: where the certificate of conformity and type-approval papers are, what a dealer hands over at delivery in the Netherlands or Belgium, and how to request a missing document. It does not issue the documents itself; that stays with your homologation team.

Does it answer Walloon dealers in French?

Yes. It replies in the language the dealer or buyer writes in, or in one fixed language you choose: Dutch, French, German, Spanish or English. One set of manuals and bulletins serves dealers in the Netherlands, Flanders and Wallonia without separate copies per country.
